iStopOver – Save By Renting House Space

Rather than leasing hotels or apartments, iStopOver.com gives you the traveler a way to rent a space in people’s houses and apartments, at an average much better rate. House owners could also make extra money from their unused extra space by listing and renting it. While this may seem like a cheap way to spend the vacation, the look of some of the house listings are quite amazing, with various photos and a map location as well. Heck, some even list Wifi and free long distance calls (however they can manage to do that). The site seems still a bit new, so it’s low on the amount of listings and more on the reviews. As it grows further, you can even find reviews for the places before renting them, or you can contribute your own.

Share Your Trip, Connect With Travellers – TripSay.com

tripsay

TripSay is a virtual place for travelers to share their travel plans, connect with their traveling friends, and share tips. Imagine your self planning a trip to Istanbul, only to find that your friend is already having a similra plan. You could, if not for the whole journey, plan a shared activity on a specific day, meet a friend outside, and share more useful tips together as well.

The site is built from users interest, favorite places, past travel information and such. While I’ve had personal problems with the site using Chrome browser (if that’s related), the site does seem a bit fun and with a little work can become much more useful.

ReadWriteWeb has more insight about the site.

7ojozat Tours

Hi All,

Two years have passed since the launch of 7ojozat.com hotel search and comparison  service. We are happy to be serving over 100,000 users per month now as we grew over time.  During my last trip however, I figured we travelers get lots of great experiences during our trip, have lots of tips to share, photos and videos to show to the world. We wanna discuss what we did, and what we can do next time.

This has led to the birth of 7ojozat Tours, the community for middle-east travelers. All subscribed travelers there will get their own blog, be able to share photos, videos, events, join in forum discussions, and more. You can already see there tens of photos, some videos, read some articles, news. Basically, we have prepared it all for you to tell us “What You Did Last Summer”. You really don’t have to confess, but we’d love to know all about it!
