Inamo Restaurant in London

Inamo Restaurant in London brings a unique experience for their customers. An interactive table that is the menu at the same time. I guess they would loose a lot of time just for people to play and have fun with it.

Marvel Super Heroes 4D Movie At Madame Tussauds London

marvel super heroes 4D movie

Marvel Super Heroes 4D for the comic and character fans is a new short 4D movie screening at Madame Tussauds in London. The movie was released on May 30th, and is part of the Madame Tussauds experience, included in your ticket price. The movie was quite fun with blowing air, water sprinkling, chair tingling, inside a large dome. Was a really pleasant experience, however short lived 9 minutes only. But cheer up your kids as they get a chance to take photos with model of Iron Man and few others before the show begins.

The down side is, you have to walk through the whole museum, pay the full ticket price to see the show. For us, the queue to enter alone was like 45 minutes! Was too crowded inside we struggled to pass through the crowd and reach the show for the kids. So if you’re planning on going there, arrange your visit, book online for %10 save value, and see if you want to group book for other attractions like London Eye and the Aquarium as well. This could be a saving by it self. Also, try to arrive early on a working day to enjoy more freedom. Don’t forget you can also find great London hotel rates here.

World’s Smallest Hotel Coming in London

February 28, 2010 · Filed Under Attractions, Europe, Hotels · 1 Comment

Forget fancy large hotels with hundreds of visitors, the Visit London says. This is a chance to live in the world’s tiniest hotel ever, only 29ft by 7ft airstream caravan that moves between famous London landmarks. The hotel providers a dedicated concierge service, check-in desk, room service, flat screen TV, and a double bed.

While it’s nice to wake up in a new place every morning, I’m not sure if I’d be comfortable with a moving bed, especially when you’re fighting sleep-disorder. But it is an experience anyways that is opening this month. click here for more details.

The Shard London Bridge Dream

December 6, 2007 · Filed Under buildings, Europe · Comment

Shard London BridgeShard London Bridge from Renzo Piano was initially hoped to be Europe’s tallest tower. It was said that after 2001 terrorist attacks, the design was reconsidered and made smaller with more fire-escape routes. The genius of the design is where he thought of the surface to be glazed and with different angled panes that would reflect the weather and sky changes, adjusting to the climate around it with different colors. I remember hearing building in Kuwait under construction will have some color changing. Now I know where they got their inspiration from.

Legal and other issues have been keeping this project from even starting. According to Wikipedia, only Nov 2007 saw a Qatari company winning the contract to build the project for fixed 350m euros.

Even though you cannot yet see this building, there are many other reasons why you may want to visit London. If you are planning to do so, we advise you to check and compare the hotel rates here before you make your booking.
